Visit in Zambia and June 2019 payment

21 June 2019

Following the annual recent visit to our projects in Zambia (Livingstone and Sinde Districts), I am happy to send you a brief report on what I saw while being there. In general, I can assure you that the projects proceed very well and that it was a pure joy to see the impact of our efforts and donations on people’s and communities’ life. Seeing the kids at school while food is duly delivered it is just wonderful and the words of gratitude that I collected from the Staff of the school and some of the kids ‘ parents belong to all of you that helped and are still helping to make all this possible.

Payment May 2019

22 May2019
Last week schools re-opened in Zambia after the traditional Easter break.  As agreed with the teachers, we sent the 2,400 euros monthly funds (here is the copy of the payment) to sponsor the school feeding project for the next 30 days to provide food for all studends and teachers (well more than 300 kids). Few days following the the beginning of the lessons, the Head-Teacher (Mrs. Reginah) sent us via whatsapp images of the lessons and of the feeding project.

Final tests

9 April 2019

It’s time for final tests at school before the Easter break, therefore, as you can see from the picture, students are busy writing their exams in the classrooms. We also received the several images from the teachers, documenting the school feeding project at work: the first from the left is the breakfast in the moring and the second one is at lunch time. More, there an image of our three beautiful (and strong) cooks.
The feeding project at Twabuka works, more or less, 80% thanks to our support and, for the rest, depends on the school and local community efforts (such as the school greenhouse and little chicken farm).

Payment March 2019

6 March 2019

Here is the receipt of the last payment we made, few days ago, directly onto the bank account of Twabuka school in Zambia.
The payment (2,400 euros raised thanks to donations received here in Italy and to donations from a group of friends in the USA) will allow us to support the school feeding project at Twabuka for the next 30 days for more than 300 students plus school staff.

Below a picture of the cooks with their new uniforms.

Payment February 2019

8 February 2019

Here is the receipt of the 2,400 euros payment to fund next 30 days of the project by which the school will be able to provide daily food (twice: at breakfast and lunch) to all school children and staff – more than 300 individuals. This is only possible thanks to the donations from you all and from a group of US tourists that, while travelling Zambia, came across Twabuka School, saw the project at work and luckily decided, almost one year ago, to join us in helping the school (they contribute by donating 50% of the cost).
Once again, thank you for helping us to support the school!
